AN EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATOR You know when to talk and when to listen, able to explain everything, from company’s goals to specific tasks. you communicate effectively at all levels, one on one, to the department and to the entire staff, via phone, email and social media. YOUR POSITION Reports to the Hotel Manager and is relieved as per vacation schedule. WHAT YOU NEED TO DO Provide friendly, efficient and professional service with treatments and other wellness activities, as per Uniworld standards and HACCP cleanliness and hygiene procedures. Care for the wellbeing of any person around you, guests and team members. Perform a professional introduction of the wellbeing department and provide various type of massages and body treatments, daily exercises (yoga, workouts, etc.) and activities (indoor and outdoor) to our guests and crew. Be prompt for each appointment and perform services within the appropriate time allocated. Provide daily sessions - exercises and activities – and personal training sessions for guests and crew. Provide ‘Welcome massage’ on embarkation day. Actively promote the wellbeing department, treatments, services and retail, as well as seminars, promotions and/or discounts available. Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered. Be flexible with scheduling, supporting the needs of guests. Care for equipment and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost control. Be familiar with all necessary safety regulation for handling cleaning materials and detergents. Properly clean and restock room as required. Clean, check functionality, and sanitation of the entire Spa and Fitness area including equipment. Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests on board that require attention. Handle guest’s questions and concerns professionally and courteously. Report any request or complaint to the Hotel Manager. Work independently, without direct supervision. Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment. Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by management. Welcome and say goodbye to all guests you encounter in any venue and engage in meaningful conversations with them. Manage the spa stocks; ordering, control of deliveries, storage, inventories. Increase revenue through up-serving techniques, listening to guests preferences and enhance their experience by suggestive selling. Organize your work and manage your times according to daily program times and events and daily assigned schedules. Minimize breakage and control costs. Handle spa supplies, other working materials and use and maintenance of equipment according to guidelines. Report all defect materials, equipment and premises damage to the Front Desk. Take part in loading supplies for the ship and in luggage distribution if scheduled. Own and immediately report special requests and complaints to the Hotel Manager. Be part of preparing the ship at the end of season for the start of season. Contribute to meetings and briefings. Comply with the maximum working hours per day/week/month given by law and announced by GRC, ensure that the accurate records are taken. Participate in any learning activity, trainings and program assigned, safety and emergency drills. WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW Luxury hospitality skills gained in four and five stars operations in spas. Best practice and trends in the wellness world. Certified massage or physical therapist. English language. You don’t find yourself 100% in the above but you still believe you would fit our team?
